This week's featured artist...

When you will have made him a Body Without Organs,
then you will have delivered him from all his automatic reactions
and restored him to his true freedom.
- Antonin Artaud

Yes, umm, right. Anyway, as you've probably guessed by now, this week's featured artist is none other than BWO.
BWO were formed in 2003 by Alexander Bard (yes, him again) and friend and collaborator Marina Schiptjenko. They auditioned around 25 vocalists for the project before settling on Martin Rolinski (possibly due to his hair?). Bard has described BWO as 'the missing link between ABBA and Kraftwerk'... Then again, he always was a bit odd.
BWO's success has extended beyond Scandinavia - They are extremely popular in Eastern Europe, particularly Russia, and have even released in the UK - they have had more European radio hits than any other act in the 21st century, bar Robbie Williams.
The band have taken part in Melodifestivalen no less than three times - including this year, where they won a direct ticket to the final in Stockholm on the 15th March!
The band plan to release a greatest hits CD and DVD this summer, called Pandemonium.

I am a BIG pop/dance music fan and I would like to extend my big thanks to you for posting several remixes from BWO. I just recently discovered them and went scrambling to find their music and especially the remixes. I loved Alcazar and I'm glad that they are somewhat making a comeback minus one player, but BWO has filled that void and they are just simply smashing and fabulous. Many thanks to you for having them on your blog.
